Polls were wrong in 2000 and 2004

As I recall, the polls and the media had Gore and Kerry winning late in those elections...........Now Bin Laden did help Bush in 2004 with his video touting Kerry.....he did prob get a memo to hold his tongue this year.

Where else can you get a job or provide a service that produces innacurate results and get paid over and over. The polling outfits are ridiculous, especially the ones that weight their samples to add extra dems to the mix, which of course automatically produces an Obama up big poll result.

Only one poll matters, and I don't mind that the dems think they are up big, so many of the college kids and out of work, welfare and homeless crowd that they have registered just sleeps in on Tuesday thinking it's in the bag.

It will be McCain in a wider win than anyone could have dreamed, and Obama will head back to the Senate to work on all the solutions he has, but has kept quiet until he got the White House.

What a joke that this clown was even nominated, FDR's wheelchair could have won this time out.

I guess Mccain should just drop out now......

because we know polls are never wrong........I am still relying on the Tom Bradley effect to carry McCain/Palin into the White House. I have very good example of this...a good buddy who was big Obama/Dem supporter told me he just cannot pull the lever for him because of race and he is killing his wife's vote for him too by telling her he mailed her absentee ballot when he scrapped it. Now this event takes place in AZ where it's not significant, but I am relying on the base bias of America in key states like Ohio, where I was born and lived  from 1956-1997 and PA FL etc. Add this theorem to the Cracker effect and Obama will be sunk. So disregard the polls because the pollsters are being lied to...

No No No to this bailout

let the strong banks survive and pick the bones of the weak, like every other business in America.

If they don't want to lend, then try to make money on deposits with their 2% rates. Good luck with that. Reagan would have fired Cox and Paulsen for being asleep at the wheel.

I cannot borrow today and i won't be able to borrow after this passes. So I say no. Reform bank fees first then check back with me.

Reform FICO scoring then check back with me.

My RNC Donation letter

Why is is that when I get my latest donation letter from John McCain and the RNC, I look at it...scroll to the lowest amount and eventually send in nothing? I mean 50.00.....that's 10% of what I was feeding the poker machines per hour at the Indian casino last weekend. I think I equate donating to giving a fat kid a bag of candy. It just doesn't feel right. So I will drive over to the local RNC in a few weeks and pick up my McCain and Shaddeg lawn (rock) signs............install them to annoy my Dem neighbors across the street and sit back on that early November Tuesday with my laptop intently watching the Ohio race decide who gets the White House again.

I am still going with McCain/Palin in a 1984 Reagan-like landslide...........it's all over but a few debates and a little counting.

Stock Market.....You mean stocks go down????

The old rule was never go into the market with money that you need.............now with much of middle america heavily invested in the market through their 401K's etc maybe Americans need to self direct the picks in their holdings and pay a little better attention to financial news. If you are a conservative, make sure your funds do not include companies like GE, Progressive etc.

I'm not in the market much, but I'd be looking at defense related companies because it's just about time that we display a little might again to the world....(heads up Tehran) and also invest in utilities and oil.

BTW, Reagan would have fired the head of the SEC by now....is the power on over there?

McCain vs Obama

All McCain needs to do is stay healthy and handle the debates without any major mistakes and I forsee a Reagan like landslide in 50 days or so. The Dems went way off the reservation with this nominee and they will pay again with one and maybe two more terms in the White House for the Republicans.

Dems and their agents made a huge mistake trying to take Palin down in the first week after her selection. Now the Republican base is awakened and the disaffected Hillary supporters in the middle have a place to land in November.
